Chucktown to ATL

Born in Portsmouth in New Hampshire, I have seen a lot of the world due to my father’s military career. But I consider Charleston, South Carolina to be my home with my family history deep rooted in Gullah Geechee heritage.

Due to my career in aviation I made my way to Atlanta, Georgia in 2018. While having limited experience with SLR cameras in high school, I picked up a mirrorless body while in ATL after falling in love with the city and its people.

And it is the people that drives me to walk the streets of the Georgia capital and the Atlanta metro area. Woodruff Park, East Atlanta Village, Little Five Points, Gresham Road, Midtown, Stone Mountain, Cleveland Avenue, the West End, and many other locations. My pictures document a city of people going through sprawling change for better or worse.

A lot of my work[but not limited to] consist of me using equipment that gives my photography a dreamy look. I like using cameras and lenses that add character to the photos I create.
